Replacement tank LRA 130L For Toyota Hilux 105 / 106

The replacement tank LRA is designed for Toyota Hilux series 105 and 106. It replaces the original tank and increases the fuel capacity to 130 litres while retaining the standard filling point and the location of the spare wheel.

Installed on the right side of the driveshaft, this tank increases the vehicle's range without the need for an auxiliary tank. However, its installation requires modification of the exhaust system, including replacement of the original muffler. This part is not included in the kit.

Since 1989, LONG RANGE AUTOMOTIVE designs and manufactures its tanks in Australia. Each model is developed for a specific vehicle application. The objective is to optimize the available volume while respecting the mechanical constraints of the chassis, filling, exhaust and transmission.

The reservoirs LRA are made of 2 mm T125CQ steel. They incorporate internal baffles to limit fuel movement, as well as an expansion chamber. Before being sold, they undergo pressure tests and several quality control checks. Tests are also carried out on dozens of kilometers of heavily degraded tracks. These tests verify the tank's resistance to vibrations, repeated twisting, impacts, and the stresses of prolonged off-road use.

The installation time is estimated at approximately 5 hours. When ordering, the exact year of the vehicle must be specified to guarantee the tank's compatibility with the relevant configuration.
